Travel Was Never Part of the Plan

How organizing trips for friends turned into a business — and why travel now connects everything I share.

Travel was never part of the plan — it simply became part of my story.

I first got into travel while I was in the Army Reserve and finishing my undergraduate degree. I was already organizing trips for college friends, sorority sisters, and fraternity members because I genuinely enjoyed researching, planning, and bringing people together.

When I realized I could get paid for something I was already doing, I thought, "Why not?" So I learned the business side, started booking travel for others, and discovered that planning a great trip is its own kind of creativity.

Over time, travel started shaping how I see everything else — what I cook, what I grow, how I style my home, and how I think about living well.

Eventually, I decided to build beyond my own bookings because I believed other people should have access to the same opportunity — not only to travel, but to learn how travel could become part of a business they build for themselves.

For me, travel is not separate from food, gardening, wellness, or home. Every journey gives me something new to bring back, try, grow, cook, or share.
