These rock wool cubes have been a game changer for my seed starting, especially for hydroponic and aeroponic growing. They hold moisture well, make transplanting easy, and have given me great germination results.
One thing I've learned: if you're moving your seedlings into soil, carefully remove as much of the rock wool as you can before planting. Rock wool doesn't readily biodegrade, so I prefer not to leave it around the roots when growing in the ground or containers.
